Capabilities

Payment services with defined boundaries.

Linkcross is developing a focused set of Canadian money-service and payment capabilities. Each activity is treated according to its own regulatory, operational and counterparty requirements.

MT Money services

Money transfer

Linkcross is developing domestic and cross-border money transfer capabilities for controlled movement of customer funds between supported payment routes.

The operating design focuses on transparent transaction information, customer and beneficiary data, appropriate screening, monitoring, funding and reconciliation.

  • Customer and beneficiary information
  • Transaction monitoring and escalation
  • Funding and payout controls
  • Reconciliation and exception management
FX Money services

Foreign exchange

Foreign exchange capability is being designed to support payment and transfer use cases with clear rates, controlled execution and documented settlement arrangements.

Pricing, funding, settlement and reconciliation are treated as operational controls rather than left as informal partner processes.

  • Rate and fee transparency
  • Funding and settlement controls
  • Transaction records
  • Counterparty oversight
VC Higher-risk activity

Virtual currency

Where virtual currency activity is introduced, Linkcross intends to treat it as a distinct higher-risk capability requiring enhanced legal, compliance, banking and technical assessment.

The design must account for wallet and custody structure, blockchain exposure, sanctions risk, source of funds and source of wealth, Travel Rule requirements where applicable, and any separate securities or investment-regulatory considerations arising from the actual product model.

  • Wallet and custody model
  • Blockchain risk monitoring
  • Sanctions and source-of-funds controls
  • Product-by-product legal assessment
PF Retail payments

Payment functions

Where Linkcross performs retail payment activities subject to Canada’s Retail Payment Activities Act, those functions are mapped separately from money-services-business obligations.

The relevant design includes operational-risk management, incident response, third-party dependencies, data and system controls, and protection of end-user funds where funds are held.

  • Payment-function mapping
  • Operational-risk framework
  • Incident-response procedures
  • End-user-funds safeguarding where applicable
Service status: This page describes planned capability areas and operating design. It is not a statement that each service is currently available, approved or registered. No customer transaction service is provided through this website.
